First of all I am so excited because I won a spot at Designs in Digital in the New Designs in Digital Design Star competition I have been participating in!  They were super clever in how they announced the winners – in a banner! 

I am being joined by some very talented girls and am honored to be part of this group.  We all will be setting up shop and the grand opening of our stores will be July 1!

Next, don’t miss Super Saturday at Elite Designer Resources!  Several of my items are on sale!  Don’t miss this one day sale.  The items on sale this Saturday may not be the same ones as next weekend – so,  make sure you visit.  Also, the June Team CU Mega is $2 – yes – $2 – tomorrow only!!  This is one collab you don’t want to miss!!  Shop at Elite with confidence  – the quality control at Elite is top notch.  I know I am tired of buying CU only to find stray pixels, blurs etc.  That’s why I joined the team at Elite!  Buy with confidence.

Now that the contest is over I should have time to have more of a daily blog presence once again!  All least, more so than lately :)   Tonight I have a great CU freebie for you!  It’s a  shabby stars overlay.  There are some many things you can do with this one!  If you want the stars more pronounced make sure to layer it and use multiply as a blend mode!  I left it light to give you more contol and multiple looks.

Week 1freebie kits in the NDIDDS contest have been posted.  There are some great freebie kits to snag this week.  Make sure you stop by there and grab mine :)   The theme I used this week was “Midnight Snacks” and the kit is about food!  I have a lot of sleepover pictures to scrap – and pizza, popcorn, milk & cookies, cake etc. always seem to go with sleepovers!  I thought maybe others would have some of the same type of pictures. This kit is very versatile and has great colors for both girl & boy pages.  Follow the link below to download this great freebie!

First, I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to type in a short thanks or comment – ya’ll are the best! Second, for tonights freebie I have 2 quick page ploppers from my new Icy Holiday kit. These are both 12×12 300 dpi, png ploppers. Add your pics below the plopper and you are done! How easy is that? I had been hoping to get my elements for the kit packaged for tonight freebie – but I still have a few I want to add. This kit has been so much fun that the ideas are still coming… lol Hopefully, I can have at least part of them ready for tomorrow’s freebie :) These ploppers are PU or S4H use only.

Also, for an extra freebie tonight I have a CU safety pin freebie! Last night I looked and looked for just the right CU safety pin and couldn’t find the type I wanted unless it was in a kit at a store with a lot of things I don’t need right now (And really don’t want to pay for right now! LOL Trying to save those pennies for Christmas…) I almost scanned one, but the thought of lassoing it was enough to make me think about my choices! I wound up mouse drawing one and didn’t use a tut – so, it was a trial and error drawing. The safety pins are 300 dpi, no shadows (except a small one on the top layer to make it look more realistic) I am still learning… so, be kind! :)

Today I worked quite a bit on some kits I needed to get finished & have a new kit uploaded and ready to go. Since I am getting to the bottom of my backlog I am going to share this new kit over the span of a few days. Tonight’s freebie is the papers from the kit. (12×12, 300 dpi jpegs) I want to thank Scrapper’s Guide, Dec. 2008 issue, for the great tut’s on bling and curves. I also used CU items from Scrappin Cop, Twin Mom Scraps and Christine Smith. Also thanks to Mega Doodle Inspired for the preview action! Tootlebugz was listed on the daily freebie list at “With a Russian Dutch Heart Design” Blog toady – Make sure you visit and check her great stuff out :) Tootlebugz also is now listed at Digifree Blog – it’s a one stop shop for daily digi scrapbook freebies! Well, the good news is that I have almost uploaded all my kits to tootlebuz that were first uploaded to goalongs. I guess in some ways thats bad news as well – because there is no way I can keep up with the pace of a kit a day freebie! I do have many other things in the finishing stages and will begin to upload them in the next few days. I have 2 Christmas kits I am still working on, a fall kit and 2 winter kits. I also have a few spring / summer kits started, but need a lot to finish them out.

Tonight the kit I am sharing is called All Boxed In. This kit is very versatile and has great fall colors! Hope you enjoy. This kit is loud, it’s wild and it’s fun! With bold patterns and colors there is something for everyone. It includes 11 papers, 5 ribbons and multiple elements – frames, beads, etc. I also made 2 ploppers (same basically, just one with a patterned and one with a solid background) All papers are 300 dpi jpegs & the elements are 300 dpi pngs. There are no shadows except on 2 of the ribbons. These were made when I first started and I didn’t know better! I included them incase you still wanted to use them. (Some of my kits were started over 2 years ago! I am posting them as I finish them and upload the zip files.) Please remember these are for personal use only! Do not sell or upload them to any websites.

For todays freebie I am sharing a kit I completed a few weeks ago. This one isn’t your usual Christmas kit! It’s a bit “spicy” for those of us who live in the warmer regions and don’t have a white Christmas with all the snow. Not all the elements are shown. It comes with 8 papers, ribbons, and various elements. It also has 2 8×8 ploopers and one 12×12 plooper. I had a lot of fun with this kit and hope you will enjoy using it! Thanks to Atomic Cupcake for the actions and templates. Santa, Santa’s belt, the furry frame and the tree are my own creations.

Wahoo! Tonight I am posting the Thanksgiving kit I promised – Gobble Day. This kit is brand new and never been posted before. (Unlike the others which had been posted at my older multi-purpose blog, Goalongs.com.) This kit contains 10 papers(12×12 300 dpi), 3 turkeys, a frame and various buttons, sliders and ribbons. (Not everything is shown in the preview.) Special thanks to Scrappin Cop for the wonderful CU turkey.
